For my second Creative Critical Reflection, I chose to present my response as a pitch to Netflix. This allowed me to explain how my film engages with its target audience while also showing how it could be distributed as a real media product.

In my pitch, I discussed my target audience of teenagers and young adults and explained how my film’s focus on modern communication, such as texting, makes it relatable and engaging. I also applied audience theories like Reception Theory, Hypodermic Needle Theory, Participatory Culture, and Cultivation Theory to show how different viewers may interpret and respond to the film.

Overall, this format helped me present my ideas in a more realistic and professional way, reflecting how films are actually pitched and marketed in the media industry.
